Bamboo8 is a streetwear apparel company founded by three designers from Auckand, New Zealand. Allan and brothers Kelly and Scott grew up in suburban Auckland in the same street, just a stone's throw away.

Early influences growing up included watching after school cartoons, battling transformers, dragracing matchbox cars, Kung fu movies, and WWF. They were also skateboarding, basketball and martial arts enthusiasts. Getting their licences, modifying cars and going to Car Shows, Drift and Drag events are a large part of their lives to this day.

In the year 2000, as a creative outlet and expression, Allan, Kelly and Scott put together a few designs, spending late nights in their garage screen-printing t-shirts for friends and family. But it wasn't till 2003 that they launched their first series online.

Bamboo8 designs are based on past and present interests and iconic imagery, with conceptual threads throughout each series. Their latest limited edition t-shirts are only available online.
